Cisco announced its “Innovative Branch” solution that optimises branch offices of all sizes

Cisco announced its “Innovative Branch” solution that optimises branch offices of all sizes, allowing banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) companies to customise branch networks to meet their unique business needs.   Cisco showcased the ‘Branch of the Future’ demo, which attracted a large number of customers from the BFSI sector, who were able to see and experience various aspects of this solution.

Anil Bhasin, Senior Vice President – West, Cisco India and SAARC said, “Today banks are exploring options beyond core banking system. They are looking at ways to differentiate and increase revenues, especially in their top branches. They are considering investing in the branch renewal process through collaborative and intelligent tools.”

According to him, this solution would enable banks to differentiate from their peers, increase revenue from the branch, improve service levels and improve staff operational efficiency.

The Innovative Branch solution intends to help banks increase customer intimacy, increase the customer wallet share, increase cross-sell and up-sell success ratio and increase employee’s efficiency and productivity.  It also focuses on creating the next generation customer experience to its customers.
