CTO Forum 3.0

08 December 2009 00:00 am , Rahul Neel Mani

With this knowledge, we began revamping the look and editorial of The CTO Forum a few months ago. We wanted to shoot for the moon. We live in an age where change is the only constant; and therefore, innovation is the need of the hour. Do different things, and do things differently – our new mantra.

So what really is changing and what are we at The CTO Forum responding to? Well, most importantly, you the reader; but equally, the environment you operate in, the issues you deal with, and the aspirations you have as a senior professional. While content and editorial quality are at the core of the changes, the look and the feel of the magazine were on our mind too. We felt our magazine must reflect the contemporary, progressive, incisive, and international nature of our reader. Short on time, high on output…

And here we are. The new-look CTO Forum marks the introduction of new fonts, a cosmic change in the layout grid, a more fashionable palette of colours, exciting new graphic elements and a visually rich experience to keep your attention from the beginning to the end. Nearly everything about the magazine has changed.

So what hasn’t? In the midst of all the change one thing that has remained constant is our dedication to innovative reporting and information dissemination. Going forward, we will be offering a mix of our own content, aggregated content from different credible international and local resources and content generated by you, the community.. We intend to be provocative, but not partisan; maverick, but not irresponsible; incisive, but not investigative; with a deep commitment to bringing thoughtful, inspiring stories to the fore.

For us at The CTO Forum, nothing is ever good enough. So we have to continuously work towards a better tomorrow. Help us with feedback and your reactions to the new and changed magazine. Tell us what we have managed to do well and where we have fallen short. Our efforts are only as good as your reactions. What can we do to ensure that you look forward to your issue of The CTO Forum every fortnight? I feel privileged that you have walked with us this far, and I look forward to a meaningful journey ahead – with you as our partners.
