Dell India has launched its portfolio of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications for small and medium enterprises. The service is meant to reduce maintenance incurred that results from traditional IT infrastructures. SaaS offerings from Dell include client device management, remote infrastructure monitoring and continuity along with compliance management.
Dell India country general manager Sameer Garde said that CIOs were struggling to reduce cost and complexity while maintaining expensive legacy systems and processes. "With Dell's new services, IT can leverage Software-as-a-Service to solve key issues around distributed device management, remote infrastructure monitoring, and business continuity and compliance," he added.
