Hackers Post TCS Website ‘For Sale’

08 March 2010 00:00 am

Website of software vendor provider Tata Consultancy Services was hacked recently. The hacker posted a ‘For Sale’ message on the website. The message was written in French and English. This is believed to be a DNS hack that social networking site Twitter also succumbed to last year. The hacker also gave an email id for those interested in purchasing the domain name. TCS officials said their servers were compromised in the attack. The site was soon restored to normal functioning.
