Tata Communications launches EASY INTERNET targeted at SMBs

Move to ensure a reliable and cost-effective business internet leased line service for SMBs with wide spread presence and easy deployment

Tata Communications, a Global Tier 1 ISP of a new world of communications, today launched its latest SMB-focused service, EASY INTERNET, which for the first time in Indian market, breaks the affordability barrier of Internet Leased Line services to that of traditional broadband internet.

This affordable tailor made solution, developed to resolve the application requirements of small and medium enterprises has toppings, including management of router, security and business messaging, along with multiple choices in routers, thus gratifying Tata Communications aim in providing integrated services to its customers in various segments. Given the cost attached, traditionally Internet Leased lines were primarily used by larger businesses, but with Easy Internet, the same reliability and speed that users attach with Internet Leased line, is now available even to SMBs across 143 cities across India.

Besides the advantage of cost and 99% uptime, Easy Internet comes with quick deployment and wide choice of add-on services, which will be of great value to the customers,” Mr. Sunil Joshi, President, Enterprise Business Unit, Tata Communications, said.

EASY INTERNET offers business class internet bandwidth in 256kbps, 512 kbps, 1mbps and 2mbps plans, thus tailored to application requirements of small and medium businesses. The services come in three flavours – Pure, Pure+, and Secure and is available across wimax network.

Tata Communications’ global network stretches across six continents with over 200,000km of global terrestrial network fiber and control over international multiple cable systems (SEA-ME-WE 3, SEA-ME-WE4, SAFE, TIC, TGN-IA), making it the only global tier I ISP of India.
