VeriSign Trust Seal Launched

Providers of secure online trading VeriSign recently launched the VeriSign Trust Seal. This product has been launched by the company as an extension of the existing VeriSign mark to increase consumer confidence. VeriSign Trust Seal will aid increase traffic for websites that do not require SSL Certificates. This includes sites that outsource their shopping cart or payment functions to third-party providers and those that do not collect sensitive personal information. With the VeriSign Trust Seal, VeriSign is promoting a safer Internet by proactively identifying websites that compromise consumer safety.

The VeriSign Trust Seal couples the familiar VeriSign checkmark circle with the words ‘VeriSign Trusted’. This allows websites of any size to display this well-recognized image seen on brand-name websites.
